The Rainbow Push Coalition and Push for Excellence kicks off its 2016 HBCU Tour

Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr., The Rainbow Push Coalition and Push for Excellence, Inc. kicks off its 2016 HBCU College Tour. The tour explores college-bound students to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, in which they tour and speak with different individuals while on campus in assisting them to choosing college and HBCU.

The Push for Excellence Tour will stop at the following HBCU’s: Jackson State University, Tougaloo College, Xavier University, Southern University and A&M University, Texas Southern University and Prairie View A&M University, Paul Quinn College, Wiley College, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Philander Smith College. The students will also be exposed to the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee.
